Zoë Dutka

Zoë Dutka is a writer and interpreter. Her multilingual work in film and radio has been featured at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, the Global Migration Film Festival in Brasilia, and at the Museum of the Brazilian Object, in São Paulo. 

In 2021, her screenplay A bicicleta de Ramon was awarded a government grant in Brazil. Her fiction and essays have appeared in n+1, New England Review, Literary Hub, Michigan Quarterly Review and Shenandoah.

Zoë is also the cofounder of La Mochila Migrante, a Brazil-based, immigrant-led media collective that has worked with the UNHCR, National Geographic, UNICEF, Doc Society, USAID, and the Red Cross, to document indigenous and immigrant stories in the Northern Amazon, where she lived for 13 years.

Zoë is now based in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she is writing a novel.
